SAVE THIS DATE FOR CALECON - a Convention of the Citizens and Friends of the Independent State of Caledon.
Have your typist inquire about days off now. Get ready to meet and greet your friends and neighbors from Caledon as we assemble in Stratford, Ontario, Canada during the annual Shakespeare Festival.
There is much more information that will be coming your way, but what you need to know now are the dates, which are (one more time) August 29, 2008-September 1, 2008 and the venue for most of our community (group) events, which is The Stone Willow Inn.
The Stone Willow Inn ( http://www.stonewillow.com/index.htm ) has a block of rooms held for our group at a rate of $134.00 Canadian per night double occupancy. You are encouraged to call and make your reservation as soon as you know that you will attend. The rooms will be held for us until August 1, 2008. When you call to make your reservation, simply let them know that you are part of CALECON, so that they will place you into one of these rooms at the group rate.
On Saturday evening (August 30th) we will host a banquet and dance at The Stone Willow Inn.
Other activities are being planned including workshops, teas/salons, theatre performances and the like. There is so much more information to come. For your convenience a website has been established for information, registration, and links to the hotel site, theatre sites, and local/regional tourist sites.
